In Remembrance…
September 11, 2006We take this time to remember the lives lost in the 9-11 attacks (WTC, Pentagon, Flight 93) and all those lost in the ensuing retaliatory actions since (Afghanistan, Iraq). I pray for our Nation, our people, and our servicemen and women. Most of all, I hope that America is reminded of how hard this hit us, and how we must continue to fight to eradicate this planet of fundamentalist thought that makes terrorist attacks such as those on 9-11 a reality in our world. Finally, I hope we can re-focus our efforts on Al Qaeda and minimize (and eventually eliminate) our presence in Iraq, a nation that has now been emasculated and should be left to the local people to secure and rebuild without us being there to be targets for insurgents.<br>

Too Long…
September 2, 2006Yeah, I know; you don’t have to tell me. I’ve been neglecting Burnerblog. Why? Auralfolderol.com has been taking up a fair amount of my time as has troubleshooting and getting the server that not only this site, but many others runs on to be stable. I have upgraded my connection to a business connection. This should help with uptime and speeds. The server has been upgraded and patched, and code has been optimized.
Big news: EE is coming. Burnerblog and Hanna’s sites will be going EE very soon. Unfortunately, this is the busy season of the year for me with the kids both in activities, so I’m still trying to find the time to make it happen, but it will; I promise.
I’ve been busy with work, the kids, family stuff, etc, etc. I hope to update here more often… I always think of it, and I always have things to write about, but I always seem to run out of time. Look at the time I’m posting this. That was how long I went today before I could find the time to post here. Everything from 8:30 a.m. yesterday morning until now has been busy, busy, busy.
Now, I lay me down to sleep and wake up in 7 hours to go to my son’s first football game of the season. I hope they do well. I’ll be the announcer for all the home games, too. It should be fun.
Ta-ta for now… more from me later!!!
